As President and Founder of Karlton Stone, I have created a one-stop-shop for all real estate buyers and sellers. I lead a team of talented marketing professionals to serve my sellers and I personally handle every aspect of every single transaction from start to finish.  Although my marketing is top notch and prestigious, I don’t "just sell.”  I represent my buyers and sellers’ best interests, as a fiduciary should.  

I received my law degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in 1993 and undergraduate degree from UCLA where I graduated Cum Laude. 

I started practicing law in 1994 as a civil litigator.

In 2002, Coldwell Banker Beverly Hills North invited me to join them –the flagship office and #1 worldwide in sales – as a Broker Associate where I worked until 2006. 

I am absolutely passionate about real estate.

I believe that piece of earth that you own as your private sanctuary or castle –tiny or regal– or as your income producing investment, is your security and your legacy. It is Sacred Ground. It deserves protection.

My Mission is to ensure outstanding representation in real estate matters.

I strongly believe that no one should buy or sell real estate without a qualified and seasoned real estate attorney representing them. When that attorney is also a Broker who was trained by the best in the industry as I was, you’ve got a killer combination rarely offered at brokerages.

At Coldwell Banker Beverly Hills North, I was trained, meticulously mentored and privately coached by the best in the industry.  I learned to market and sell high-end luxury residences, income and commercial properties. 

I’ve mastered both the legal aspects and the marketing aspects of selling real estate.

My years of experience practicing law are used daily when I represent buyers and sellers. Legal skills are mandatory in negotiating hard for buyers and sellers and more importantly: protecting their interests.

My Proprietary Marketing System has resulted in me setting records for the highest sale price per square foot from Beverly Hills to Rancho Cucamonga in Southern California.

I’ve served as a listing broker for residential, multi-unit, and commercial retail properties.  I’ve represented court appointed receivers, trustees, fiduciaries, trial attorneys and even other licensed brokers in the purchase and sale of real property.  

I have taught Real Estate Practice and Law at Pepperdine Law School, at the USC Marshall School of Business, Beverly Hills Bar Association and the Beverly Hills Greater Los Angeles Association of Realtors®.

Trial attorneys have retained me as their expert witness and consultant in litigation cases involving the duties of real estate brokers and sellers, and as a mediator in litigated real estate disputes.

I speak and blog frequently on brokers' duties, standard of care, procuring cause disputes and other real estate matters. 

I'm a member of the Professional Standards Committee of the Beverly Hills and Greater Los Angeles Association of Realtors® and serve on several panels and committees at the California Association of Realtors®.
